Still rocking and rolling

I am sore and I know I am doing my body good. Today is my "60 days till my birthday" day.
So I decided to really up my workouts and tweak my eating habits.
I am still on my key 90 X workout routine regimen but I am also including some insanity and asylum.
At this very moment I am dictating this blog while driving to the gym. My morning schedule is: wake up at 4 AM.

Do P90 X or another 30 minutes DVD workout.

Drive to the gym.

Do upper body with weights.

Run pinnacle mountain until I have to go to work.

Work for eight hours.

Go home, eat then go for a 3 to 5 mile run.

If I have time, I will do another Beachbody DVD workout.

My schedule is kind of insane, but I know my outcome.

Most lazy day ever

Yesterday I thoroughly enjoyed the most laziest day I have had this entire year. Not only did I sleep in until 7:30 AM but the majority of the day I a was laying down watching TV or just relaxing. I think that we need a lazy day every once in a while.
Today I started off with waking up at 4 AM and doing a P90 X plus work out.
And enjoyed every minute of it.
I also decided to really tweet my eating habits. In 60 days I am going to have the best body in my life.
How will I make it happen? I am staying off of Facebook and YouTube and other Internet sites.
If I am required to get on the Internet for my job, I will do that but I will not play.
This does sound kind of extreme. So we will see if this will work or not.

Actual "no time"

Yesterday was one of my busiest days in a very long time. I can usually scrape up a few minutes to work out sometime during the day. Yesterday was not one of those type of days.
I got up at my usual 4 AM time. But I had to leave by 4:30 AM to drive for an hour and a half to get to a computer job. I work that job until I had to drive an hour to my second job. Then I work until I had to drive home. After getting home it was almost 11 PM. I took a shower and went to bed and got less than five hours of sleep.
This morning was very difficult getting up at 4 AM. I did not have the energy I needed to do a workout. So I got my no excuse cooler together, my workout clothes, and my work clothes put together and I am heading to the mountain. I will do a quick run up and down the mountain then I will head to the gym to do upper body workout.
At 10 AM I start an eight hour shift. I love my weekends, Ha ha ha.
I plan on doing my P90X workout this afternoon after work. Then I believe I will go straight to sleep.

Stranded with a broken down car

Yesterday started out normal. P90X and then packed the car with water and food. I headed to my mountain frail and ran 10 miles. Whether I tried to start the car, the car was completely dead. I noticed that the main fuse was blown.

I was stranded. No cell phone signal. 20 miles away from the dealership. It was time for a marathon day. It looks like I will have to run a marathon to get to the Honda dealership and get my seven dollar fuse so I can drive to work by 1:30 PM today.

This is what fitness is all about. It's not about looking cute in your skinny jeans. It's about being able to run 20 miles to get to safety, or save your life.

The X stretch workout

If you think stretching is not a work out, you should try P90X X stretch workout. Not only do you feel absolutely amazing afterwords, but it is a heck of a workout.

This morning it is raining and cold. But I got it my Xstretch and now I'm heading to the gym for another awesome upper body workout.
Whether it is raining or not, when I am done working out I will climb the mountain. The mountain is a great cardio and lower body workout. I am very lucky to live within an hour of this mountain.

UPDATE:
My car broke down. I am stranded far away from civilization at a trailhead.

I feel it today

This morning I really feel muscles I've never felt before. that means I am doing it correctly. I thoroughly enjoy being active.
The other day at work a coworker told me that I was an over achiever. I'm taking that as a compliment because that person always seems to be busy and a great worker. But I also understand that if someone tells you that you are over achiever, or you are working out too much, or you are doing something completely out of the realm of normal, then you are definitely doing something correct.
Other news, it seems that I may have a chef gig at a big four-day wedding in June. My chef skills are really improving. I believe I have finally found my true calling in life, fitness and healthy cooking.

Its hard to "not eat so much"

I know we are biologically supposed to want to eat, but in our society we need to "not eat so much."
I know I am doing an amazing transformation, but I want to do better. And in my tiny little mind, I think that I need to fast, eat less, or even starve myself.
I know from past experiences, I can go on 1000 cal a day fast for three days with out feeling bad. It actually helps me Cleanse. Anything more than three days or going with out eating, I not only feel bad but at the end of my fad diets, I tend to over eat.
So I am going to continue to eat and work out every day and enjoy my life.

Today I am going to join Boyd on his new YouTube channel and post a video per day showing what I'm doing to transform my body. At the end of 365 days, I should have a transform the body that I can do a bodybuilding or a fitness competition with.
He will keep me on track as I do a round of P90X for 90 days, insanity for 60 days, and then finally a 30 day asylum video. After that six months I will try another six-month video series that will help me get into shape.

April 2

For the last month I've been trying to hold up. Bulking up requires extra calories. Well consuming extra calories, I notice that I feel more bloated around the midsection. I believe that that is just extra food in the digestive tract. I say digestive tract because I do not believe that I am getting body fat. I am definitely getting stronger, more endurance and I definitely feel better about myself.
This next month I am going to focus more on becoming lean. How will I become more lame? My daily calorie level will be my BMR. Basal metabolic rate. That's the rage in which my body burns calories at rest just to stay alive per day. Presently, I only require 1700 calories.
So my caloric intake per day will be no more than 2000 calories.
If I feel weak, tired, or my daily step count goes down drastically, I will increase my caloric intake.

No excuse Sunday

Today is Sunday and I work from 8 AM to 4 PM. It would be a perfect day for me to sleep in a little bit but I chose to get up at 4 AM and do my P90X workout. I am heading to a running trail to run for an hour before I go to Pinnacle Mountain.
